GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Keep our community safe & do your bit!

Following the near miss and continued unsafe drop off/parking practices, the Safer Roads Team came out and visited Green Lane recently to assess the road. Mrs King from the Infants school, Councillor Adrain Collett and I met with him to discuss how to improve the safety of the road and the unsafe dropping off/parking practices. The Safer Road Team are now organising for the yellow zigzag lines to be refreshed and are looking into safer crossings for pedestrians. PC Knaggs and his work colleague were present on Wednesday 5th February at the start of day on Green Lane to remind parents and carers not to stop/drop off on the yellow zigzag lines. Fines will be issued to those caught doing so.

I remind all parents and carers not to drop off at the start of the school day on the yellow zig zag or park on double yellow lines to keep our community safe.
